These measurements are for a single serving. Our office is full of thirsty employees, so we made much making bigger batches. You can find all ingredients at your local market, ours were from BevMo.

Let’s Get Started

Step One

First things first, you’ll need to make the chai tea. You’ll want to start brewing this well in advance so it’ll cool down and to prevent the ice from melting and diluting your drink.

Step Two

Crush a few blackberries in a little bowl while adding in about 1/2 oz of simple syrup. Mix until there is a consistent solid color and if you want you can remove any big berry pieces. We left a couple of chunks in the mixture to give it that rustic DIY look.

Step Three

Pour in the remainder of your ingredients. If you prefer a sweeter drink, feel free to add more simple syrup. Adjust the measurements to your (or your guests) liking.

Step Four

Add ice to your cup, pour your drink, and enjoy. If you have a little skewer, you can poke a few blackberries to garnish and beautify your concoction.

Remember you do not have to follow this recipe or the measurements word for word. It’s all about your preferences, so have this holiday season and don’t forget to drink responsibly. Cheers!
