Starting as medical student, Dr. Neela was provided boxy, oversized, lifeless scrubs. They did nothing for her comfort or confidence, so she teamed up with her seamstress friend to create something better.
2005
As a practicing pediatrician, life got busy. But people took notice of her custom-fitting scrubs, and interest continued to rise. She knew it was time to pursue the idea further—early prototypes were developed.
2014
After planning and perfecting, JAANUU launched as the first physician-led scrubs brand on the market. It transformed the medical apparel world for good.
